Hair Growth Remedies

Hair Growth Remedies

Today we would talk about hair growth remedies for women that would cover two hair care products from 'The Ordinary', Peptide serum and Marula oil. Plus three essential oil combinations that you can get from your regular drugstores.

The Ordinary Hair Care

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density review

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density

The first one is the hair care product "The OrdinaryMulti-Peptide Serum for Hair Density", a 100% pure and cold-pressed virgin marula oil. It is a lightweight concentrated serum, vegan, and without silicones. The product does what it claims to do. It addresses volume and treats the scalp. Precisely it increases hair density i.e. increases the thickness of hair and treats dry and flaky scalp. This concentrated serum contains peptides that are the building blocks that stimulate follicle growth, promoting denser-looking hair. It also improves dry and flaky scalp thereby promoting hair health. It is good for thinning hair, and all hair types and textures.

A few things to keep in mind when using this product; it would not make your hair grow, but treat your scalp and induce follicle production to promote healthy hair. Hair products with similar purposes are slow-acting and take around three to four months to give results. Also, it might not give results for every person as some would complain. If one already has healthy hair, then the product might not work for him/her as for those with relevant deficiencies. Since every person has different needs, the different complexes this product contains first addresses the deficiencies one might have, and then work to grow hair, which is why this product could take more time for some people. So you would need to be patient with this one.

The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oi

The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

The second product is "The Ordinary 100% Cold-PressedVirgin Marula Oil", considered a super oil by many. The oil is rich in antioxidants, has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, and also offers cellular regeneration which would keep your scalp healthy and can aid in hair growth. A stable oil containing monounsaturated fatty acids. This oil has hydrating and moisturizing properties that nourish hair without making them look greasy. It is especially good for dry, damaged, frizzy, brittle, as well as high porosity hair because of its occlusive properties of preventing water loss. Also, its high level of antioxidants helps to combat free radical damage from the UV rays.

It is also suitable for people with dry skin aiming for hydration but is not for acne-prone skin. I have covered their skincare bestsellers in another post if you would like to check that too

Essential Oils for Hair Growth

Now I would be talking about three essential oil solutions for encouraging hair growth and keeping the scalp healthy. Since a healthy scalp would lead to better hair growth.

Peppermint essential oil in Olive oil

The first is peppermint essential oil, and olive oil. Mix 2 to 4 drops of peppermint oil in olive oil and massage it on the scalp. Both Peppermint and olive oils boost circulation and the former increases the number and depth of hair follicles. Peppermint also acts as a detox that would keep your scalp healthy.

Rosemary essential oil in Castor oil

The second is rosemary essential oil in castor oil. Mix 2 to 4 drops of rosemary oil in castor oil and massage it on the scalp. You can also use castor oil with olive oil. If you can manage the thick castor oil on the rest of your hair length then go ahead with applying on the ends too. Rosemary oil also encourages cellular regeneration and according to studies, it has been shown to perform like minoxidil and at the same time, does not have any side effects and is gentle on the scalp.

Tea Tree Oil in Olive Oil

Last, we have tea tree oil in olive oil. Mix 2 to 4 drops of tea tree oil in olive oil and massage it on your scalp. This is a great way to use oil detox instead of using grainy exfoliators, as the latter could also cause abrasion, especially on sensitive scalps. Tea tree has antiseptic and antimicrobial properties and will help unclog hair follicles and remove build-up to give healthy hair.

If you like any of the hair growth solutions I suggested, comment down below. I would love to hear you out. If you liked the post, share it with your social media friends, and stay updated for more. The face serums from The Ordinary are covered in a separate post if you would want to see it. I have a lot of things to show you all of which I will keep sharing. Thank you for your time and reading. Bye-bye.
