Comfortable Formal Shoes Women I Am Wearing
Welcome
back to my blog! Today is shoes day. I'm going to show you my handpicked four most comfortable formal shoes women I'll be wearing this season. But, I intend to include a mix of casual, semi-formal, and formal shoes.
My taste in fashion is often a bridge of casual and formal. Where I live, winter is for four months, of which two months is peak winter. A limited time to wear winter wardrobe but even then, I love winter shopping for every reason. And that is why I focus more on timeless pieces. So let's get started.
Mango (left), Lark & Finch (middle), ASOS (right and front)
1. ASOS Ballet Pump Shoe in Black
How
common are they this time of the year, is your choice. Currently trending
styles are the narrow but square toed ballet flats. Universally flattering
style would always remain the round toe ballet pump shoe; the classic slip-on style,
round toe, and a bow detail. I got these for approximately 25 USD in Black. It
has a textile upper, and a flat sole. It's a lightweight pump, and feels
comfortable on the feet. The classic design is my go-to for a casual day out, a
visit to a café, or seeing my loved ones. In other words, when I don't need to
walk too much, and going about the daily activities. I dress casual and light
with pumps, and make it especially a day look.
2. ASOS Leather Chelsea Boots in Black
Come the boots season, I bring you boots. I am very selective about my boots shopping. You'd find chunky sole boots, knee high boots, and pull on boots among current trends, but your classic Chelsea boots will stay. Chelsea boots are those with an elasticated side insert. I got these timeless Chelsea boots women from ASOS Chelsea boots in black, for 66 USD. These are pure leather boots. It has an almond toe, zip side fastening, and heel height of 1 inch. It is a heavy shoe, but feels quite firm on the feet. I love my ASOS Chelsea boots. I have been wearing them for a bit, and I’ve no complaints. Whether I wear them with full length jeans or cropped, they give the classic chic look that I always seek. Chelsea boots are quite versatile that you can even wear skirts, dresses, and sweater dresses with them.
3. Mango Suede Leather Ankle Boots in Brown
I got these suede leather ankle boots from Mango for 50 USD. It is in color tobacco brown. It has a neutral undertone. I have worn it with both cool and warm colors, and it does full justice. This is 100% suede, has a narrow but square toe, and side zip detail. It is a lightweight suede boots with a wooden heel of 2 centimeter. Ankle boots are not always classified as formal, but it is more a versatile semi-formal option, you can dress up or down the look. I wear these Mango ankle boots with both casual and formal wear, and it did full justice. When you wear brown ankle booties with jeans, don’t forget to curl up the hem of the jeans an inch or two, so that it doesn’t hit the opening mouth of those boots. I tend to wear it more often because these are easy to manage. I even once walked 5 km on paved road with these, and didn't feel any foot pain. It is really lightweight, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing any boots at all. I love everything about these shoes!
4. Lark & Finch Leather Shoes in Brown
The
last boots of the day are these babies. This 100% leather boots by Lark &
Finch, at a great price of USD 28. I got these from Jomo. As you can see, the
height is low, so these are not ankle boots. These are formal leather dress shoes
for women with side zip, and the lace up design. Suit up with dress shoes for the formal sophisticated look, or wear them with pants, trousers, or even jeans for the sleek elegance. It has a rubber TPR sole,
making it slip resistant. Yet the rubber sole doesn't make the shoe look any
less casual. This is the perfect high-end fashion in the most relaxed way
possible. To date, these leather brown dress shoes beat comfort level of every
boot, and trainer I have ever wore my entire life. Yes, I said trainers too! It
is not just the sole that makes it comfortable. Lark & Finch does a great
job in providing the highest level of comfort in their shoes. The make is
comfort perfection. This also looks the most beautiful out of all the boots I
ever bought, making it my best dress shoe, topping my previous brogues!
Apparently, it doesn't look as hot in the images as it does when you hold it,
and wear it. It experienced this when I bought it. It is an attention seeker
whenever I got out wearing them.
That's
all for my winter shoe collection for you. I haven't bought any new trainers
this winter but if I do, you'd find out. Until my next shoe shopping, ciao!
