Women’s Winter Outerwear with a Burst of Color
Welcome back to Lifestyle Prism! So
today I will be showing you a few women's winter outerwear with a burst of color. Those are few of my collection items that are not black, and neither two bright but rather,
chic color options everyone can manage while pulling a classy winter outfit.
Layering is an essential protection against the cold, but you can't escape
woman outerwear women love to wear - you can't go outdoors without an outerwear i.e. a coat or jacket if its dropping especially in negatives.
We associate winter with white, black, and grey. This gets translated in almost every winter dress up. We wear less color and even get over with wearing the same cozy winter outfits we have the whole season. Color is associated more with summers. But if you wear color in winter, you'd stand out because, why not! The colors I will talk about might not be the recent trending ones because I define my own fashion statement, independent of the trend. I'm going to show you my winter collection - three sweaters, a trench coat, and a quilted jacket that are not black. These are also the timeless wardrobe pieces that, no matter which year you buy them, you look on top of your fashion game. You would be able to translate these items into chic winter outfits. I would tell you that these winter outfit items are not my most recent buys, but they remain in essence, timeless. The options are suitable from moderate to chilly winters. So, let's get started.
1. UNIQLO Lambswool Blend Sweaters in Pink and Purple
UNIQLO is an everyday clothing brand
known for high quality, and practicality. It does an amazing job in delivering
values to their clothes. I have two of their sweaters. A pink V-neck wool
sweater, and a crew neck purple sweater that retail for approximately 35 USD
each. I got a friend to buy it for me from a UNIQLO store in the UK. These wool
sweaters have a classic fit with a comfortable snug on the skin. I prefer a
classic fit; straight fit doesn't look good on me. It is lambswool blend, and
quite soft on the skin. I love the delicate colored blush pink sweater. It is a
simple shape and the V-neck gives it the timeless style one can ask for. The
vibrant purple wool sweater is an awesome color addition to my winter wardrobe.
UNIQLO sweaters are very warm. I've worn them in the chilliest of winter
breezes, and they still kept me warm.
2. ASOS Bell Sleeve Jumper in Royal Blue
ASOS is and online retailer, and a
universal brand that caters to all fits and sizes, and makes go-to fashion
ranges. I got this ASOS jumper in blue for approx. 35 USD. It is a boat neck,
blue jumper, with bell sleeves. The description says it is Deep Lilac, but to
me, it is more royal blue. It is a lightweight, wool blend mohair jumper; a
comfortable knit but needs care as it could pill. However, the loose wool
knitwear would not be able to retain heat, and allow a bit of air passage. So
it would not be your best bet against the coldest of winter. You can wear it in
moderate winter. For colder weather, consider it with an outerwear. But, it has
a beautiful fit that sits on the skin. The loose hem and bell sleeves
accentuate the fall. Also, I'm head over heels in love with the royal blue
color.
3. Mango Trench Coat in Beige Ecru
Mango is known for its Mediterranean
fashion aesthetics. It translates natural, and contemporary fashion style into
timeless designs. I got a Mango trench for 85 USD from their retail outlet in my
region. Trench coat is among the categories of raincoat that comes with
detailed military style double breasted buttons, a thick belt, large pockets, and
lapels on shoulders and cuffs. This Mango trench coat is composed of cotton and
polyester; not the warmest option, but would do well in moderate winter. My
Mango trench coat is in color beige ecru. It may be boring for a color, but is
going to complement every colored outfit you would want to wear because of its
neutral undertone. Also, a classic trench coat will always remain among the
best winter coats for women. No matter which year you buy it, the double
breasted trench coat women would remain chic, and among your timeless wardrobe
essentials.
4. Pimkie Lightweight Padded Jacket in Burgundy
Pimkie is a fast fashion brand. I got
the Pimkie padded jacket in burgundy, for 34 USD. I bought it online from ASOS.
Quilted jackets remain among the best winter jackets for women. They are
versatile enough for even a winter smart casual look, and are great warm
outerwear jackets to go for. Although it is a light quilted jacket, it does
full justice in cold weather. But for the extreme cold, choose a thicker puffer
jacket to keep you warm. My Pimkie quilted puffer jacket is extremely
comfortable to wear and the color? Red winter jackets have been trending for
some time, but I wanted to get a burgundy. Burgundy puffer jacket looks great
with some colors, especially whites, blues, reds, and pinks. It even looks
great with black. I like wearing it over my pink UNIQLO sweater (refer image),
for a feminine yet romantic look. I have got to say I'm crazy in love with the
color, and never get enough of it.
And that's a wrap to my colored timeless outfit items collection. If you want your fashion statement to remain up to date, buy yourself a few classic and timeless wardrobe items that can last you years.
