IKEA Online Accessories – TINGBY, NISSAFORS, RAST

Hi, welcome back to my blog! Recently I bought a few home accessories from IKEA, a Swedish furniture retail company. So I thought to show you for some ideas in today’s post “IKEA Online Accessories - TINGBY, NISSAFORS, RAST“. A few home furniture items we could do from IKEA online with were - a side table, a trolley, and a chest of drawers.

IKEA – NISSAFORS, RAST, TINGBY

IKEA TINGBY Side Table on Casters, Red

IKEA TINGBY side table on casters, red, 19 5/8x19 5/8", $59.99. IKEA TINGBY is available in three colors – black, white, and red. This side table with wheels is a versatile option for dining and living spaces, as well as the study. The IKEA table has a Scandinavian design with clean lines that can go with many interior design styles such as contemporary modern, industrial, and minimalism. IKEA TINGBY is a small table with wheels, and has a table top and a separate shelf to use for décor accessories or other useful items. The casters are very smooth and easy to move around. It is a very sleek table.

When we got the sofas makeover for living and dining spaces, empty corners came into focus. I have put a plant in one corner, and placed the end table with wheels on the other. The idea of an accent color plays a major role if you have neutral colors as the base, or when all the décor is neutral colored. In such cases, primary colors add the needed vibrancy. My dining and living spaces have white walls, white curtains, white and neutral grey flooring, and white and grey sofas. So we got the IKEA TINGBY side table with casters in striking red. As it is with the new live edge center tables, the red is an eye catcher. Assembling the rolling side table was very easy and didn't take any time at all.

 

IKEA NISSAFORS Trolley, Red-Orange

IKEA NISSAFORS Trolley, red-orange, 50.5x30x83 cm, $59.99. The IKEA Nissafors trolley size is small, and fits nicely in slim and small spaces. The shelves design is very versatile, making it a multi-purpose accessory for kitchen, bathroom, living and work spaces. IKEA trolley cart is available in three colors – black, white, and red-orange. The red-orange color is sold out in utility cart IKEA, but other colors are still available. This IKEA utility cart is made of steel, and has a powder coating. The compact size of the Nissafors might look a bit delicate, but this IKEA cart with wheels is very durable.

Guests usually show up at mine early evenings or late at night. This handy moving trolley was just the right size and perfect addition to our accessories. The IKEA rolling island is great to serve meal to around six to eight people. With neutral colored décor, a pop of color always boosts the mood. The IKEA Nissafors red-orange trolley adds a lively vibe, and vivid brightness to the space. Assembling this trolley took more time than the side table, because it had floors and layers to put together.

 

IKEA RAST 3-Drawer Chest, Pine

RAST 3-drawer chest, pine, 24 3/8x26 3/4 ", $59.99. This IKEA RAST chest is made of solid pine wood which is a durable and warm natural material. But it is untreated solid wood, so IKEA recommends that you would want to use a protectant to seal the surface of the natural pine dresser, and make it more durable. The IKEA pine dresser comes with the hardware, so you can also attach it to the wall to protect it from falling.

One of the bedrooms needed extra storage, so we made do with a chest of drawers. IKEA RAST 3 drawer chest is a good size for a chest of drawers. Very big drawers sometimes get stuck, and difficult to pull out and close. IKEA RAST drawer slides sit perfectly in one corner. Assembling this IKEA wood dresser was a bit difficult. I did not do it myself and let others in the family handle that.

I just love every item we bought from IKEA online, it was worth every penny spent!

If you want to clean IKEA furniture, use a soft dry fabric. If necessary, use a slightly damp one where needed. But on the colored IKEA furniture that I got especially the red small table with wheels IKEA and the orange IKEA trolley cart, I avoid both abrasive material and even damp cloth to protect the color from fading. Also, whenever you find assembling IKEA furniture difficult, refer to assembly guides posted by youtubers on Youtube.
